Weight Watchers-Week 1
Yesterday was my first weigh-in & I’m happy to report a 5 lb loss! Woot!! So this whole point thing does work!
I have enjoyed that you are not limited in what you can eat. I am making better choices and more mindful of portions. Healthier food goes further and is more satisfying.
Today, we had a birthday party at my office. I was hoping that I could dodge the usual lunch time celebration, but I begrudgingly followed along. Much to my surprise I was able to keep my cool and make great choices on lunch.
In the afternoon, we do a cake/ice cream gathering and I did eat a cupcake with no frosting. I will tell you that an hour later I felt really terrible. I was mildly nauseated and had a small headache. I’m thinking that was the most sugar I had consumed all week.
So, it was hardly worth it.
I’m excited about the journey. I feel like this is the real deal. My first personal goal is 15lbs. I am going to do a reward system for myself. I just think it will keep things interesting as I have a long way to go. My first reward is a HRM.
I’m currently looking into a few different kinds; FitBit Flex, Jawbone Up, or a Polaris FT series.
