I didn&amp;#8217;t have time (find the time) to do meal prep Sunday or Monday.  Monday for lunch I had a frozen meal and I was so sad because it wasn&amp;#8217;t as tasty and satisfying as what I would make myself.  Today I took fresh salad and tuna and that was delicious and so much better than the frozen meal.  So, tonight we had some reprieve in our schedule and I started meal prepping right away.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I grilled chicken for all week and made quinoa too.  Can I just say that I love quinoa!  I was only introduced to this super food 3 years ago but really took to it.  I just make it in water, but you can boil it in stock if you would like.  It goes great with everything and loaded with protein.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It is a little point heavy, but so good for you. I love it in salad.  I&amp;#8217;m waiting for the chicken to cool and then I will slice it and weigh it out.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I consider myself a patient and positive person.  It really takes a lot to shake me from that core, but every once in a while it happens.  Today, was that day.  I didn&amp;#8217;t sleep well because I had a really terrible nightmare.  Then, I was just slammed at work.  I have this one really huge project going on.  I am&lt;br/&gt;
a part of two really major parts of this project.  It has been trying keeping both roles maintained at the level I wish for them to stay, but I have managed to do so.  I credit this to the amazing team I work with.  The most awesome part of my job is getting to be a part of a whole that makes a real difference.  The saying, &amp;#8220;you are only as strong as your weakest link&amp;#8221; goes so far in our environment.  Every portion of someone&amp;#8217;s contribution is so crucial.  When there are mistakes, the whole process is kinked and slowed.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I really let it get to me today.  I think the reasoning is I&amp;#8217;m not sure how to remedy it. &lt;p&gt;I have a normal 8-5, Monday - Friday job.  Some days, the 8-5 gets extended if I have a large project I am working on.  I am in a committed relationship.  She is a teacher.  We have a dog named Bruno.  We are active in our community and our church.  I mention all these things because it plays a large role in my weight loss journey.  Britt, my partner, and I started Weight Watchers 2 weeks ago.  We are off to a great start.  She has lost 10lbs and I have lost 7lbs.  Not every day do we feel like exercising and not every day do we do the most stellar job of picking our meals, but we are making a difference.  I feel great to say that we have not exceeded our points since starting.  Small victory there.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I saw someone post something about blogs that dont just have pretty pictures.  I need to do more of the trials and tribulations and less of the eye candy.  I have to confess that the pictures do bring me some encouragement, but&amp;#8230;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;reading your real world words,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;reading your real world struggles,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;reading your real world confessions&amp;#8230;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;that would encourage me even more.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I will post pictures from time to time, but I vow for it to be more of my own.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is me.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m Stephanie and I am approaching 30.  I no longer want an unhealthy life.&lt;/p&gt;
